During my time at tkm9 Group, I was instrumental in the creation and success of Play9, a division of tkm9 Group that focused on kids interactive experiences.
From gaming in retail centres through to this 300 square metre interactive indoor playground at Florida Mall in Orlando, USA. My creative partner Darren O'Mahony and I took each project from concept through to overseeing all production of digital content and play equipment.
This is The Play Park at Florida Mall. Our largest scale project where we combined clever technology that made the entire play space interactive. We crafted swaying grass poles that made ethereal sounds as kids jumped pole to pole. We created an interactive light tunnel where kids could sit and listen to funny tales about The Play Park troll. A digital pond saw kids help Mumma worms save her babies from the the pond. Mushroom run was a mystical free running game on a 75" screen. Kids opened hidden doors to discover their refections were animating.
