Earth Crusaders is a Melbourne based eco incursion Not-Fot-Profit that I co-founded along with two ladies from my local area. Earth Crusaders visits schools and organisations to teach kids about sustainability in a fun and interactive way. The co-founders and I met in 2018 while participating in Sustainability Champs, an 8 week program run by Moonee Valley City Council where we were encouraged to create with a project that would create sustainable change in our local area.
Along with developing the business and programs, I lead the brand creatively and did all the design work.
It was important that the brand looked professional but not intimidating nor exclusive. It needed to feel genuine and local. The logo played a large roll in conveying this message. The badge form is young, playful and full of optimism; just was we see ourselves as a brand.
